Beyond BASIC assists people with intellectual disabilities to achieve fulfillment beyond the basics by developing independent living skills. During this session, we will discuss how we work with these adults to strengthen their own expectations and the perceptions of those around them through volunteering, job skill training, and a variety of skills groups like self care and cooking.
